Meet our Team

Peter C. Fotinos, MD: Medical Director

Dr. Peter Fotinos was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated with the highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Medical Doctorate as an undergraduate from the University as well. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is one of the nation’s leading schools of medicine, currently ranked second out of 144 in clinical care by US News and World Report. Dr. Fotinos was the attending physician as well as lead physician-in-training at Presbyterian Urgent Care located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

While practicing at Urgent Care and during his time in Family Practice he saw many cases that couldn’t be addressed with traditional medicine. Such cases were generally attributed to the natural course of aging. Dr. Fotinos learned that “the natural course of aging” wasn’t necessarily a diagnosis he had to give to patients. He discovered there were alternative holistic treatments coupled with traditional medicine he could provide. His mission at REVITA is to help patients regain their short and long term wellness using natural treatments based on latest medical research. To give the best care possible, Dr. Fotinos desired a more personal relationship with his patients. He wanted to help them make proactive decisions about their health in order to avoid developing illnesses and degenerative conditions in the first place. Dr. Fotinos also wanted to help build a practice where patients can feel at home. He takes time to listen to his patients, allowing a clear understanding of individual needs. With this understanding he gears his treatment style specifically tailored to each patient. He loves it when patients call and let him know that he has helped them regain energy, health and well-being. He is committed to his patient’s success.

Currently Dr. Fotinos is a member of the following organizations:
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M)
Age Management Medical Group (AAMG)
North American Menopause Society (NAMS)
American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP)
North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS)
World Link Medical, Mastering The Protocols for Optimization of Hormone Replacement Therapy (Trained)

Philanthropy: He has made generous donations to the American Cancer Society as well as many other charities. He has provided medical care for adults and children at a free clinic that was located in a local church. In high school, she was a member of the Track and Field team and joined the Winthrop University Track and Field team her Freshman year of college. Amanda volunteered many of her afternoons at the local Boys and Girls Club in high school and college. Amanda’s coursework and experiences have enabled her to be effective in the health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition fields. Hands on experience while at Winthrop included an internship with the Zest Quest Research Program. This program researched ways to promote healthier lifestyles of local overweight children referred to them by their family physicians. As an intern Amanda directly interacted with the kids, performing fitness gram testing, leading them in their activities, and coaching them to build their confidence, self image, and commitment to becoming fit. She assisted in keeping the necessary records to document the study. To be effective it required patience, confidence, and compassion on her part.

Amanda concluded her studies and experiences with Winthrop University as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Intern at Presbyterian Novant Heart and Wellness Center. She gained a multitude of experiences with patients through; leading daily warm-ups or cool-downs, assisting patients with their phases of Cardiac Rehab, observing Treadmill Tests, Nutrition consultations, and a Weight Loss challenge for Presbyterian staff and Cardiac Rehab patients.
